The Provincial Grand Charity Steward, Peter Boyd, was pleased to announce recently where the three grants that form ‘Nominate 23’ went.
£3000 went to the charity Mosaic, which is a child-centred service offering support for bereaved children.
£1500 went to Dorchester Disabled Club, which assists those in need with help accessing transport and opportunities that they would ordinarily be unable.
£500 went to Poole Waste Not Want Not which supports low income families in Dorset, providing affordable food, budgeting skills and social activities.
Charity is such a key element of being a Freemason, and all of this money has been raised and donated by Freemasons for the benefit of the wider communities in Dorset, and beyond.
