The most unbelievable generosity from Dorset Freemasons. `

‘The most unbelievable 48 hours. We have received over 200 car loads of the very finest quality clothes, blankets, sleeping bags, etc. This is an enormous amount of items that Dorset Freemasons and their wives have gone out and purchased. Literally thousands upon thousands of nappies, toiletries, food and drink. One Dorset Freemason spent £2,500.00 on tinned food.
On Thursday afternoon we were informed by our contact in the Ukraine that all items must be boxed and labelled. A local firm offered us 1500 of the best quality boxes free of charge, which they not only delivered to us but supplied two of their workforce to assisted us in putting all the boxes together.
Somewhere in the region of 40 Dorset Freemasons, their wives, and our friends, neighbours and family, helped sort, pack and label all the items.
One lorry containing 7,500 bags of rice has already left for Maidstone. Our convoy of vans need to be in Maidstone by 8 am and all except one van will be driven by Dorset Freemasons. That one van will be driven by Danny, who is Roxana’s son.
Roxana is a remarkable lady who has hired a van to deliver these goods to the most needy within Ukraine.
Dorset Freemasons should be enormously proud what they have achieved’.
